1) In a large bowl combine slaw mix, diced apples, & chopped walnuts. Set aside.
2) In a smaller bowl mix poppy seed dressing and mayonnaise then add to larger bowl with slaw mix. Toss well.
3) Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. ( hint use some of dry left over poppy seed dressing as a topping if you like a sweeter slaw mix. You can squeese lemon or lime juice on salad if letting set over night in refrigerator to keep apples from turning dark)
