This baste is especially good on seafood or grilled chicken. Baste can be used as a sauce as well.


  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 1/2 TBS of  Scott Farms Savory Sesame & Tomato  Rub
  • 1 TBS of Scott Farms Grateful Garlic Seasoning
  • 4 to 6 green onions (white & green) finely chopped
  • 2 TBS of soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp  of course black pepper


Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the Scott Farms Savory Sesame & Tomato Rub, Scott Farms Grateful Garlic Seasoning, and green onions and cook until the garlic and green onions are aromatic approx 2-3 minutes. Stir in the soy sauce & black pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes.  You are now ready to baste.It can ( after cooling) be transfered to a container and refrigerated. Can be held up to 5 days.Reheat to melt butter.  Hint: do not cross contaminate basting brush by cooking meat some before basting.
