Scott Farms Quinoa Pilaf

This amazing grain is mother nature's complete protien that is high in essential amino acids. It is wheat-free/gluten-free which is good news for those who are on special diets. What is great it also taste great and cooks like your favorite pasta or rice.


  • 1/2  cup carrots (diced)
  • 1/4 cup of green bell peppers (diced)
  • 1/4 cup of red bell peppers (diced)
  • 1/4 cup green onions (diced)
  • 1/4 cup whole green peas ( fresh or frozen)
  • 1 TBS chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp Scott Farms Grateful Garlic Seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 cups of Quinoa
  • 6 cups of vegetable broth ( can use chicken broth or water instead)


Place the 3 cups of Quinoa in the broth in a large sauce pan & bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer and cook for at least 10 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed into the grain & is translucent & soft. Saute vegetables in olive oil while adding seasoning & salt. Saute until slightly crisp. Combine cooked Quinoa & vegetables & then add almonds. Serve hot.  This dish makes a great bed for your favorite grilled chicken or fish.
